The Need on Campus

Along with great opportunity at Boston's outstanding colleges and universities, students find:
    - Critical choices about lifestyle
    - Racial tension
    - Peer pressure
    - Substance abuse
    - Loneliness
    - Stress
    - Contempt for Christianity

In any given year, 150,000 undergraduate students attend colleges and universities in the Boston area.  Currently, only about 2% are active in a witnessing community.

InterVarsity’s Purpose

The purpose of InterVarsity is to help students grow in their love for God, God’s word, God’s people of every ethnicity and culture, and God’s purposes throughout the world.

The heart of InterVarsity's strategy is one student inviting another to follow Jesus Christ through:             
    - Small group Bible study             
    - Weekly worship and teaching gatherings
    - Daily prayer times             
    - Outreach events             
    - Training on how to share Jesus            
    - Personal discipleship
    - Summer missions trips
    - Spring break urban projects
    - Weekend retreats
